Responsibilities

  • General information

The objectives of the International Relations Commission (CRInt) at the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing (EERP-USP) are to propose and establish strategies and develop actions directed to the unit’s internationalization, whether it is academic or administrative. 

 The Commission consists of:

I-   one representative of the faculty members of each Department at EERP totaling three professors;

II-    one representative of the board of directors of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Research Development;

III-    one representative of the board of directors of the RHO Upsilon Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society;

IV-    one undergraduate student representative;

V-    one graduate student representative;

VI-   one academic technical assistant;


The responsibilities of the CRInt at EERP include:


I – To cooperate with the EERP’s Dean’s office to comply with institutional policies intended to internationalize the unit;

II – To cooperate with the EERP’s Dean’s office to comply with the Terms of Reference of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Research Development;

III – To create, coordinate, monitor and evaluate mechanisms that encourage the exchange of undergraduate and graduate students;

IV – To collaborate with the bureaucratic procedures required to conduct the exchange of undergraduate and graduate students.

V – To coordinate technical support provided for the documentation and logistics of international students and professors during their stay at EERP;

VI – To integrate the planning and organization process of international visits linked to the Departments, Permanent Committees and the EERP’s Dean.

VII – To collaborate with the Dean’s office in the reception of international visitors;

VI – To provide guidance to international students, professionals and professors concerning the activities developed at the EERP and access to such activities;

VII – To participate in the process of guidance, development, monitoring and evaluation of exchange agreements, letters of intent, and similar relations established at EERP with international institutions;

VIII – To disseminate opportunities of exchange, grants and scholarships based on information by the Central CCInt to professors and students at the EERP;

IX – To aid in the promotion of academic and cultural events with the participation of visiting international students and professors;

X – To collaborate in the creation and development of strategies and actions to increase the visibility of EERP, the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Research Development, the Rho Upsilon Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society both in the Brazilian and international scenario;

XI – To collaborate in the creation and development of strategies and actions to improve the dissemination of information provided by the WHO/PAHO/Global Network of WHO Collaborating Centres and other government agencies;

XII – To collaborate in the evaluation of the work plan of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Research Development;

XIII – To follow-up the dissemination of press releases concerning the activities of international cooperation to intra- and extra- USP medias.

XIV – To work together with the Central CCInt concerning institutional policies;

XV – To exercise other responsibilities attributed by the EERP’s Dean office or by the Central CCInt.
